Guarantee

At ONE HOUSE we develop Dutch design made in Germany. We use the best materials so that you can enjoy our furniture in the long term. This way you are always on the safe side, we offer a 5-year guarantee on our entire range, but of course we expect a significantly longer lifespan for our products.

5 YEAR WARRANTY

Our guarantee is subject to the conditions set out below and is a special service provided by us in addition to the statutory warranty. Therefore, the guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

WHAT DOES THE WARRANTY INCLUDE?

The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship on all items in our ONE HOUSE collection and guarantees that we will repair any potential defects within the warranty period or replace the product for you.

HOW DO YOU SUBMIT A WARRANTY CLAIM?

You must submit warranty claims within a reasonable period of time after discovering the defect and no later than before the end of the warranty period to the One House store where you originally purchased the item. Please present your proof of purchase so that we can trace the place and time of your product purchase or delivery. For insurance reasons, we may request appropriate documentation of the defect from you in the form of photos or similar image material or, if necessary, ask you to return the product for further inspection.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY?

General wear and tear, cuts, scratches or other damage caused by improper use, accidents, impacts or external damage and discoloration caused by improper use or handling;

  • Damage and discoloration caused by lack of or incorrect care according to the ONE HOUSE care instructions;
  • Products that have been improperly stored, assembled or used, misused or modified, as well as products that have been exposed to high temperature fluctuations or direct sunlight, or that have been stored in an environment for which the product is not suitable, such as outdoors or in humid environments such as a bathroom.

WHAT STEPS ARE WE TAKING TO ADDRESS THE SHORTAGE?

If you make a claim for a defect, our ONE HOUSE customer support will investigate the issue and determine if it is covered by the warranty. We will then decide if the defect can be repaired or the item needs to be replaced. ONE HOUSE reserves the right to determine what action to take in the event of a justified claim and will cover the cost of replacing or repairing any defective parts. If the product you originally purchased is no longer available, ONE HOUSE will decide on a suitable replacement product.

If the defect can be repaired, ONE HOUSE or a partner selected by ONE HOUSE will carry out the repair using the necessary means. The defect will then be remedied without any further possibility of a price reduction or other compensation.
