Round oak dining table: ø 80 to 160 cm

The round Hielkeis available in 10-cm increments from ø 80 to 160 cm, at a height of 75 cm. From ø 120 cm upwards, it stands on four solid oak legs. In this case, four chairs fit best, one between each pair of legs. The legs pick up on the design of the square Hielke with wooden legs, making both tables a great match for your home.

A round plate, six shades

Each top is finely sanded, stained with a linseed oil stain and treated with several coats of hard wax seal. This creates the shades Milk, Oat, Natural, Honey, Cinnamon and Espresso. In Espresso, the round table looks deep dark, see Black dining table. Milk and Oat make it light and warm, see Beige dining table. It's best to compare the shades with a wood sample in your own light.

Small and round: Borrel bistro table

Not every kitchen has room for a large dining table. Our bistro table Borrelstands on a central pedestal, which comfortably accommodates two chairs. It is available with an oak top or a Silestone top in a marble look, which is stain-resistant and scratch-resistant. With a diameter of 60 or 75 cm, it fits perfectly in a kitchen corner or by a window.

That depends on the legs. From a diameter of 120 cm, the round Hielke stands on four legs, in which case four chairs fit best, one between each pair of legs. Our Maatje chairsare well-suited for this, with a width of 49 cm.

What kind of wood is the round dining table made of?

Made of solid European oak, glued from continuous staves. It is crafted in a third-generation family-owned carpentry workshop in the Black Forest.

What shades are there?

Milk, Oat, Natur, Honey, Cinnamon and Espresso. The color comes from a linseed oil stain, topped with a hard wax seal. The grain of the oak remains visible.

What is the difference between a round dining table and a bistro table?

The round Hielke is a full-size dining table with four legs from ø 120 cm. The Borrel bistro table is smaller, stands on a central pedestal, and is intended for two people, for example in the kitchen.

How sensitive is the surface?

The tabletop is protected with a hard wax seal that is scratch-resistant and withstands household liquids in accordance with DIN 68861. Coffee does not soak in immediately, unlike many oak tables that are only oiled.

Does a round dining table fit in a small kitchen?

Yes. The round Hielke is available starting at ø 80 cm. For a very small corner, the Borrel bistro tablewith ø 60 cm and a central pedestal is often the better choice.
