For four people, we recommend a table length of 140 cm or more. Our dimensions of 140 x 90 cm are perfect for compact spaces, as two chairs can comfortably fit on each long side. If you regularly need space for guests at the ends, you can easily place an additional chair at each end, creating space for up to six people.

To ensure your dining set looks its best and remains functional in the room, you should factor in space for chairs in addition to the table size. Ideally, there should be a distance of 80 to 100 cm between the edge of the table and the nearest wall or piece of furniture. This allows everyone to comfortably slide their chair back and get up with ease.

For the four Maatje chairs, you have a choice of two different metal frames as well as numerous fabrics and leathers – so you can easily add individual color accents.

We offer our own care kits for our tables and upholstery fabrics. For light soiling, simply wipe your wooden table regularly with a damp cloth. As our tables are stained, moisture does not penetrate the surface as quickly, and the tabletop stays beautiful for a long time. Our upholstery fabrics are stain-resistant high-performance fabrics. Should an accident occur, simply blot up liquids with a cloth; stains can be removed with a little water and dish soap. For a thorough refresh, we recommend professional upholstery cleaning every few years.

Thanks to our modular system, you don't have to buy new chairs. The soft seat and back cushions of the Maatje chairs can be replaced in just a few simple steps. You can reorder new covers in a color of your choice at any time.
