Frequently asked questions

Are lounge chairs comfortable?

Generally, lounge chairs are very comfortable as they are designed for relaxation. However, the level of comfort also depends on the manufacturer and the specific piece of seating furniture. Lounge chairs, like the One House Maatje, which are made from high-quality materials and have comfortable padding on the seat and back, are very comfortable and invite you to linger.

What is a lounge chair?

A lounge chair is an upholstered armchair with a low, relaxed seat height, a generous seat and a backrest. You sit slightly reclined in it, ideal for reading, a coffee by the window or as a quiet spot next to the sofa. Our Maatje Lounge Chair is made for exactly that: relaxed hours in your living room.

For which living areas are lounge chairs suitable?

Lounge chairs fit perfectly in the living room but can also be used in other spaces. They create visual highlights in public areas, cut a fine figure in hotels, lounges, and waiting rooms, and can also create a cozy corner in the study, bedroom, or hallway. There are no limits to your creativity when furnishing!

How long does delivery of the lounge chairs take?

Our lounge chairs are handmade unique pieces and not mass-produced goods, so we do not have them directly in stock. Each piece is individually manufactured after the order, with the desired fabric and metal. Therefore, the average delivery time is 6-8 weeks.
